HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF THIS BURN?

How do I take care of this burn?
Okay, so I accidentally burnt myself about two hours ago. The area surrounding is red and there is a raised white dot or a thing. It sort of hurts, but not as well badly. I washed it with cool water and then put on some cream that is for burns and a bandage. Is that adequate or ought to I have carried out something else.

You can keep it cool by applying an ice pack to it. Wrap the ice pack (or frozen item) in a dishtowel to avert frostbite.
Aloe vera gel speeds up the healing approach.

Yeah, I think that is about all you can do. Retain applying that cream and a fresh bandage everyday- and you will be fine.

person is born with 60 genetic mutations, very few of which involve
weather manipulation or an amazing healing factor. This number was less
than expected, leading the researchers to believe human evolution happens
more slowly than previously thought. From the article: "Sixty mutations
may sound like a lot, but according to the international team of
geneticists behind the new research, it is actually fewer than expected.
'We had previously estimated that parents would contribute an average of
100 to 200 mistakes to their child,' Philip Awadalla, a geneticist at the
University of Montreal who co-led the project, said in a press release.
'Our genetic study, the first of its kind, shows that actually much fewer
mistakes, or mutations, are made.'

JavaScript engines to the latest web browsers has brought with it a
wealth of new functionality. The focus seems to have been put on the
ability to play video in a browser without Flash, or making games. But a
project born out of a Music Hackday in Berlin is just as exciting. It's
called jsmad and is a pure JavaScript decoder that [0]allows you to play
MP3s in a browser without Flash. So, for example, a music artist could
create a website and upload songs for visitors to listen to without need
of any plug-ins. Alternatively, why not have an MP3 jukebox that can play
songs off your hard drive or Dropbox folder just by loading a website?
You can try out the decoder by visiting the [1]jsmad.org website where
there is a sample song, on the same site you can browse for your own
local file to play. Be warned, it only works in Firefox 4+ at the moment,
but [2]Chrome support is coming and already works in some cases." Another

For several years, Redbox has been in the business of renting movies
through vending machines. Now, they've [0]expanded the service to include
video games for the Wii, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. "Redbox vending
machines are situated in over 21,000 different places across the US, and
games will now be available for rent for $2 a day via these machines.
Users are also able to reserve games online via the Redbox website, and
then pick titles up from a machine later on. Although the catalog is
currently limited, a number of newly released titles are available from
the machines, including LA Noire, Infamous 2 and Red Faction: Armageddon."
