Can Anthony Weiner Survive?
Congressman Anthony Weiner's admission that he sent lewd messages over Twitter inevitably raised the question of whether the career of a politician regarded as a likely 2013 New York mayoral frontrunner could survive such a scandal. A quick poll of politicos and pundits found few saying it could. But they also noted a geopolitical factor that may work to Weiner's advantage: This is New York, where stranger things have happened.
