QUOTE OF THE DAY
Republican Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell during a debate with Chris Coons on Tuesday:

"So you're telling me . . . that the phrase 'separation of church and state' is found in the First Amendment?"

COMMENT OF THE DAY
ramjetrth, on 'Manchin debates Raese: Who won?' article:

Manchin looked good. West Virginia loves him, and regardless of a lot of odd polling and Republican disinformation, Wets Virginia will elect him. He's too blue a dog for me, but he has worked hard for Virginia for a long time. Raese has a lot of money being spent on his behalf, but that's all he's got going for him. He's only in the race because the GOP had no one else willing to run.
